Alejandra Arenas
About me

Alejandra was born in Bogota, Colombia and was raised in South Florida. She is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English fluently.


Alejandra graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior design in the Fall of 2013. During her time as an undergraduate interior design student, Alejandra served as Vice President of the IIDA Florida State Student Chapter at Florida State University and participated in the Interior Design Student Organization throughout her time in the interior design department. She continued her studies at Florida State and graduated with a Master of Science in August 2015.


During the Summer of 2013 she had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. This experience opened her eyes to a new world of design and new cultures.


She is very passionate about design and creating spaces that as functional as possible for the end user. Since beginning her professional career she has worked on a variety of project from workplace design to restaurant design. She has assisted project managers with conceptual design, schematic design, test fits, space planning, construction documents, and construction administration.


Alejandra is an associate member of IIDA, and a FitWel Ambassador. Additionally, she has begun to pursue the LEED Green Associate certification and the National Council of Interior Design Qualification certification.
